Caitlin Gomez, MSc
Technical Advisor
Caitlin has worked with Nourish Global Nutrition as a Technical Advisor since 2015, providing technical assistance on many projects throughout East Africa, West Africa and the Pacific Islands. In this role, she contributed to the design and implementation of home fortification with micronutrient powder programs, including overseeing the scale-up of MNP in Rwanda to over 250,000 beneficiaries across 18 districts.
Caitlin studied kinesiology and nutrition at UBC and she has a background in clinical research related to cognition, aging and physical activity. She recently completed a MSc. Nutrition for Global Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and her diverse educational and professional background has allowed her to become an expert in the development, implementation and evaluation of complex interventions. She is passionate about developing evidence-based interventions that seek to improve the health of underserved populations, empower beneficiaries and promote equity.
